We are sad to announce the passing away of Barry Gendler, one of the key writers of our book, and a good friend.
We know that Barry has been ill for a long time now, but he finally passed away Tuesday night, 21st February 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, in the East-End of London. Barry’s wife, Josie was with him.
Barry will always be remembered as a driving member of the book team. He was a proud East-Ender, and spent most of his life behind the seat of his London Taxi.
Everyone involved in the creation of ‘Tales by Eastenders’ would like to pass their respects to Josie and their family on this sad occasion.
Here are some of the photo’s we have of Barry, and this is how we will always remember him.
